Based in Manchester, Valentich is the electronic music project of Danni Morris. Spanning a range of genres, from industrial and IDM, to ambient synthpop and minimal house, Valentich’s work is rich with brooding, atmospheric pads, lo-fi samples and dance floor inspired beats. Both dark and joyous in equal measure, Valentich takes inspiration from artists such as Jon Hopkins, Boards of Canada, Goldfrapp and Fischerspooner.

Recent releases include ‘Distant Sun’ and ‘Innerspheres’, where a distinct nostalgia for Soviet era space exploration is celebrated in meandering, progressive tracks. Singles ‘Enemy In Your Eyes’ and ‘Terminal Deity’ feature in the Smallbrain Records ‘Best Picks of Melodic Techno & Avant Garde Music’ playlists, whilst earlier work has featured on the Headphones for Robots and Newretrowave Music blogs. Valentich has also featured as a guest artist on the TRUK and Butterflies & Hurricanes radio shows.

Valentich will be appearing in the main bar on the Friday Night of Foundations 2019
