Michael Harmina is the producer and multi-instrumentalist behind DEF NEON.  Since signing to AnalogueTrash in 2016, DEF NEON’s infectious sound and engaging live performances across the UK have proven popular with live event organisers, industry-professionals and fans alike; leading to a number of high-profile support slots for acts such as PWEI, 65daysofstatic, The Birthday Massacre, The Orb, Sonic Boom Six and Death In Vegas.


The band has also garnered the attention of BBC Introducing who awarded their track ‘Nightvision’ as their Big Thing Record of the Week in February 2018.


As well as his work within DEF NEON the band, Michael is a prolific DJ and remixer, having performed at clubs and raves across Wales and North England including: Hendre Hall (Bangor), Getting Divvy With It (Wrexham), Funkmode (Wrexham), Zombie Shack (Manchester), House Nation / Clearance Sale (Sheffield), Club Shhh (Sheffield) and Dirty Cheese (Sheffield).


Well known for his remix work, he won ‘best remix’ prizes for his remixes for Santa Cruz electro-band ‘STS9’ as well as Atlanta rap group Deaf Judges. Expect an eclectic, no-holds-barred mix of pretty much anything you can think of, including mashups, remixes and more.
